Having worked in food marketing for nearly 17 years, Amber excels in generating success beyond the plate. Growing up on a family farm, she understands the food industry from the source out and brings Midwestern charm and work ethic to everything she touches. Her focus is on cultivating relationships that result in top-of-mind awareness for clients and their brands. Amber is responsible for developing and executing PR strategies which include media relations, thought leadership, and event sponsorships. She also provides strategic internal communications council and has guided clients through crisis situations.
In past years, PR programs have been primarily driven by traditional earned media strategies – submission of product news and pitches to magazine editors. The borders between paid, owned and earned are becoming less black & white and we’re seeing a shift toward content marketing amplification. As the role of PR in communications plans evolves, so must our skills.
