Manage project deliverables, budgets, and timelines

Integrated Communications - Media Planner

Media Planner

Responsible for making strategic communication recommendations across multiple clients.  This position will be responsible for creating touchpoint plans which achieve client objectives and deliver positive ROI.  Job duties include researching applicable partners, issuing RFPs, negotiating placements & rates, building media plans, presenting to clients, analyzing results, and identifying optimization opportunities.  This position will work closely with all members of the Integrated Communications team, as well as media reps and account service counterparts.

We take a holistic approach to touchpoint planning, always considering multiple mediums such as print, digital, PR, email campaigns, search engine marketing, in-store, live events, etc.  Marlin Network promises accountable ROI to our clients and includes expected return in each delivered recommendation.

Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of media planning experience (B2B and/or foodservice experience a plus), effective time management & organizational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities, basic understanding of closed loop marketing systems, comprehension of integrated media and the notion of lead-generating mediums working together, search engine marketing experience, hunger for knowledge of technology and marketing systems, and passion for new media, marketing analytics, and closed loop marketing.
