A turnkey Gardein sampling program was developed to generate product awareness and help C&U operators solicit student feedback as to the types of meatless meals they wanted to see in campus dining halls.
With rising interest in “better-for-you” options, college campuses are the ideal target for generating excitement around plant-based proteins. Conagra Foodservice wanted to highlight its wide range of Gardein-branded products for this captive audience.
CSSI would develop a complete Gardein sampling program to capitalize on student demand for meatless meals, focused on campuses that were already familiar with the brand and potentially open to expanding their purchases across multiple products from the Gardein portfolio.
To encourage maximum participation, we left no stone unturned. Everything from digital menu boards and social media templates to sampling materials, student giveaways and training guides were included in the turnkey program.
With successful events held across the country, the program acted as a door-opener for the Conagra team to sell the extended Gardein portfolio.
