Our response to COVID was to develop a a multimedia collaboration with Foodable TV that supports restaurants of any size. This series of 12 podcast episodes, all with downloadable toolkits, was launched to support restaurants in their fight back to reopening.
Restaurants were hit hard during 2020. So Marlin Network created Restaurant H.E.L.P. to deliver practical advice for restaurants everywhere.
Marlin Network’s group of food-centric marketing agencies felt compelled to do something. And that something was Restaurant HELP: a multimedia collaboration with Foodable TV, an online restaurant channel with millions of followers.
Via social media, emails and digital ad promotion, operators were directed toward helpful podcasts, reference materials and more to help them get back on their feet and adapt to the new reality. Topics included everything from takeout and delivery best practices to re-envisioning the menu.
Materials from Restaurant H.E.L.P. featured bold graphics and a the red flag on a fork, which in battle represents “charge” ahead, don’t give up. Seems appropriate, don’t you think?
Restaurant H.E.L.P. was a series of 12 podcasts, each with a downloadable training module that launched just after COVID to support restaurants coping with how to survive in foodservice during a pandemic.
The supporting website myrestaurantHELP.com promoted each podcast and downloadable modules and highlighted the speakers from the series.
The podcasts were delivered via Foodable™, Apple, Spotify and other podcast outlets, as well as myrestaurantHELP.com.
Each episode is a 30-minute podcast delivered in interview style featuring chef experts and guest restaurants.
Each of the 12 episodes had an accompanying download with actionable support, such as menu templates, suggested headline copy, in-store signage, social support, etc.
